Winter check up’s for Chamonix’s Under 16’s
FREE pre-winter check ups for under 16’s
What: You don’t have to be injured, think of it as an MOT for the body! The consultation with Carlton Rowlands (Sports Osteopath) consists of a short biomechanical assessment which does not involve any hands-on treatment, followed by a discussion of the concerns, the sport or ways he can help prepare your under 16 for their busy winter activities schedule.
Why: Children of Chamonix are at a higher sporting risk as they grow and train hard alike. Children ages 5 to 15 account for nearly 40% of all sports-related injuries and 50% of these are overuse injuries.
When: Wednesday and Thursdays 16:30 – 18:45
How: Just drop into the Clinic. All children must be accompanied by an adult. If you’re still not sure or would like advice for your son or daughter, feel free to email Carlton directly (firstname.lastname@example.org)
Who: Carlton is a British and French registered Osteopath with an in-depth knowledge of juvenile injuries as the lead practitioner for the Junior Swiss Swimming team. Having represented GB in international ski racing as a junior and progressed into endurance sports, Carlton truly understands the demands of sport on the body from an early age. Indeed, as a sufferer of growing related pain in combination with masters level research into low limb injuries Carlton will aim to detect, inform and treat or refer if needs be.
