Raph completed his Physiotherapy Degree in Italy followed by postgraduate training at the University of Nice-Sophia-Antipolis before completing a Masters in Sports Physiotherapy at the University of Melbourne, Australia.

Raph has spent the last few years transferring strategies currently used in high performance sport to recreational and non-sporting clients, including those affected by chronic pain. “I believe that the word “performance” should not be restricted to athletes or actors but should be applied to everyone striving to get at his best as a professional, as a person and a member of family or community. For these reasons, being able to perform at work, travelling, enjoying mountain lifestyle and carrying out family duties on a consistent basis equals to a true performance. I therefore love helping my clients to achieve their own sport or non-sport goals, including  the most extreme, whilst feeling at their best at work or at home.”

Raph has lived and worked in Italy, Ireland, Australia and UK before recently settling in Chamonix.

Raph running the London Marathan
Raph running the London Marathan

Born by the Adriatic Sea and grown up in the Italian Dolomites, Raph has developed a passion for endurance events including running and cross-country skiing. He was Junior National Champion in racewalking (athletics) and joined Carabinieri – the Italian Military Police – Sports Team as a full-time athlete, with running being part of his training.

He nurtured a passion for roller skiing whilst living in the UK in addition to road running and cross-country skiing. Ski-mountaneering and ultra-marathons are in his agenda since moving to Chamonix, but is keen to resume climbing and ice-skating as of his younger years.
